Abstract:
O segmento produtivo, composto pela porção noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, passa constantemente por (re)arranjos de seus elementos sociais, técnico-estruturais e de produção, considerando-se relevante para a análise da organização do espaço regional, as condições físico-territoriais e o processo de ocupação estadual, relacionado às atividades agropecuárias presentes. É fundamental combinar o espaço e a sociedade, compreendendo a sua importância e a impossibilidade de isolar um aspecto do outro. O processo de ocupação pode ser considerado como elemento definidor da organização do espaço agrário e a sua evolução ao longo do tempo, depende da forma como os agricultores se inserem no mercado e como se comportam frente às mudanças inerentes ao desenvolvimento.
The social, technical, structural and production elements of the productive sector of the Northwestern part of Rio Grande do Sul state are constantly been (re) arranged, considering that the physical-territorial conditions and the process the occupation of the space “sul-riograndense” are of great importance to the analysis of regional space organization. It is fundamental to combine space and society, understanding their importance and the impossibility of isolating one aspect from the other in this analysis. The occupational process can be considered as a defining element of the agricultural space organization and its evolution through the time, depends on the way the farmers are participating in the market and the way they behave themselves facing the inherent changes of development.
