Direito e educação ambiental: horizontes interdisciplinares - relato de experiência do minicurso

Abstract

Este artigo trata de um relato de experiência do minicurso Direito e Educação Ambiental: horizontes interdisciplinares, ministrado no VII Fórum Brasileiro de Educação Ambiental ocorrido na cidade de Salvador, Estado da Bahia, em março de 2012. A presente oficina se originou do Grupo de Pesquisa Direito e Educação Ambiental – GPDEA, do qual participam os autores do artigo, pois as questões trabalhadas nos encontros e nos projetos do grupo são atinentes à problematização e à reflexão sobre a interdisciplinaridade existente entre o Direito e a Educação Ambiental. A proposta deste minicurso também foi fortalecida a partir da publicação pelos autores de um artigo, fruto das pesquisas e discussões no grupo, o qual enfrenta a inserção da Educação Ambiental no Direito compreendida como uma possibilidade da construção de horizontes interdisciplinares. Os objetivos do minicurso foram: a) analisar e debater sobre a inserção da Educação Ambiental no âmbito jurídico; b) discutir os vínculos que unem o Direito e a Educação Ambiental na promoção da cidadania a partir do enfoque da sustentabilidade e; c) problematizar uma reflexão ambiental transformadora com base na dialética dos antagonismos que se fundem e confundem os saberes e os fazeres do Direito e da Educação Ambiental. O minicurso teve a perspectiva metodológica de exposição dialogada dos temas tratados seguida de uma leitura de textos sugeridos, na qual se procurou discutir a inserção da Educação Ambiental no âmbito jurídico, tendo em vista que tal mediação acontece pela necessidade complementar e conexa entre o Direito e a Educação Ambiental. Para fundamentar essa afirmação recorre-se, historicamente, à formulação social da consciência ambiental no cenário mundial que perpassa à questão ambiental no cenário brasileiro e seus desdobramentos sociais, indo ao encontro da interdisciplinaridade e suas implicações no que tange a uma Educação Ambiental transversal, crítica e transformadora.

This article is an experience report of minicourse Law and Environmental Education: interdisciplinary horizons, taught at the VII Brazilian Forum of Environmental Education occurred in the city of Salvador, Bahia state, in March 2012. Thus, this workshop originated Research Group Law and Environmental Education - GPDEA, attended by the authors of the article because the issues worked out in meetings and group projects are relating to questioning and reflection on interdisciplinarity between Law and Environmental Education. The purpose of this short course was also strengthened after the publication of an article by the authors as a result of research and discussion in the group, which faces the integration of environmental education in law understood as a possibility of building interdisciplinary horizons. The objectives of the short course were: a) analyze and discuss the inclusion of environmental education in the legal, b) discuss the ties that unite the Right and Environmental Education in promoting citizenship from the viewpoint of sustainability and c) discuss a reflection environmental transformation based on dialectical antagonisms that merge and confuse knowledge and doings of Law and Environmental Education. The short course had a methodological perspective dialogued exposure of the topics discussed followed by a suggested reading texts in which we intend to discuss the inclusion of environmental education in the legal field, considering that such mediation happens by necessity complementary and connected between law and Environmental Education.
