Abstract:
A presente pesquisa visou investigar a produção na área de Biblioteconomia sobre
biblioteca escolar nos periódicos científicos brasileiros disponíveis na internet e publicados no período
de 2001 a 2009. A pesquisa tinha como objetivos específicos identificar quem e onde se produz
pesquisas sobre biblioteca escolar; identificar grupos de pesquisa sobre biblioteca escolar; identificar
como a leitura, pesquisa escolar e ação cultural são abordadas nos textos científicos sobre esse tipo
de biblioteca; analisar nos textos como é abordado o papel do bibliotecário na função educativa.
Conclui-se que há uma produção científica brasileira sobre biblioteca escolar voltada para diferentes
enfoques. E que ainda há poucos trabalhos sobre os assuntos: pesquisa escolar, ação cultural e
papel do bibliotecário na função educativa.
This study aimed to investigate the production in Librarianship on school libraries in Brazilian journals available online and published in the period 2001 to 2009. The specific objective of the research was to identify who and where happen the researches on school library, identify research groups on school library, besides identify how the reading, scholarly research and cultural action are covered in the scientific literature on this type of library. And also, analyzing in the how is the approach about the role of the librarian in the educational function. Conclude that there is a Brazilian scientific production on school library with many different focuses. And there is still little work on the issues: academic research, cultural action and role of the librarian in the educational activity
