Abstract:
A pesquisa destaca características do software ABCD, confrontando-as com os principais critérios na escolha de
um software para bibliotecas escolares, de acordo com a literatura sobre avaliação de software para bibliotecas.
O objetivo da mesma é analisar o software ABCD no âmbito das bibliotecas escolares. O método adotado para a
análise dos dados foi a técnica de análise de conteúdo (Bardin, 1977), com a qual se analisou as informações
fornecidas por um dos desenvolvedores do referido sistema. Esta técnica permitiu mapear as funcionalidades do
software ABCD. Tais funcionalidades são demonstradas no checklist desenvolvido como um dos resultados
desta pesquisa, a fim de compará-los com os critérios estabelecidos nos parâmetros para bibliotecas escolares da
UFMG. Foi possível constatar que o software ABCD atende as necessidades das bibliotecas escolares, uma vez
que dos 90 (noventa) critérios considerados pela pesquisa como imprescindíveis em um software para biblioteca
escolar, 77% destes critérios estão presentes no ABCD. Atendendo então 72% das necessidades das bibliotecas
escolares, conforme a classificação avaliativa
This research shows the character of the ABCD software, to confront the main criterion in the choice of software
to scholar library, this is in the literature about evaluation of software to library. The point is analyses the ABCD
software in the scholar libraries. The method adopted to the data collections was the “technique of content
analysis”, which we get the information’s provided by one of the developers of this systems. This technique
mapping the features of the ABCD software.That functionalities are demonstrated in check-list developed as one
of the results in this search, to compare their with the criterion established in the parameters to the scholar library
in UFMG.Was possible to see that ABCD software meets the needs of scholar libraries, once that 90 (ninety)
criterions considered by the search as essential in a software, 77% are presents in ABCD. Watching 72% of their
needs in scholar libraries, according to the evaluative classification.
