Abstract:
Este trabalho apresenta os resultados da pesquisa desenvolvida nas
bibliotecas públicas municipais da cidade do Rio Grande-RS, a qual teve por
objetivo identificar se as mesmas possuem projetos de incentivo à leitura e se
essas atividades ainda continuam sendo aplicadas. A metodologia empregada
foi um questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas que obteve como
principais resultados a escassez de atividades de incentivo a leitura nas
bibliotecas, este fato pode ocorrer pela falta de bibliotecários na rede, pela falta
de interesse dos professores que trabalham nas mesmas, pela falta de espaço
físico ou pelo horário de funcionamento.
This work presents the results of the research developed in the
municipal public libraries of Rio Grande-RS, which had for objective to identify if
the same ones possess projects of incentive to reading and if these activities
still continue being applied. The employed methodology was a questionnaire
with open and closed questions that it got as main results the scarcity of
activities of incentive the reading in the libraries, this fact can occur for the lack
of librarians in the net, for the lack of it interest of the professors that work in the
same ones, for the lack of physical space or the schedule of functioning.
