As mobilizações comunitárias locais como alavanca no reflorestamento do/no Haiti: uma proposta de Educação Ambiental

Abstract

A presente tese apresenta uma análise aprofundada acerca dos problemas ambientais do/no Haiti. Desde a perspectiva da educação ambiental emancipatória, a problemática questiona as causas do possível colapso ecológico haitiano; as hipóteses propõem a averiguar si o povo haitiano tem confiança suficiente em si mesmo, em sua capacidade, em sua vontade coletiva para rever os fundamentos da nação haitiana como a primeira república negra do mundo? E se eles estão dispostos a fazer os mesmos sacrifícios coletivos que os conduzem a sua independência em 1804 que são necessários, sem recorrer ao diletantismo para confrontar os verdadeiros problemas estruturais, aqueles que obstruem o caminho para o desenvolvimento social, econômico, político e ecologicamente. e como metodologia qualitativa, além da pesquisa documental, optamos por um trabalho de campo numa cooperativa de camponeses haitianos. Assim, dividimos esta investigação em quatro capítulos: O primeiro aborda aspectos históricos do Haiti e a dívida colonial, alguns indicadores demográficos, a implicação do pesquisador nesta pesquisa e a religião do Vodu no universo simbólico do ser haitiano. O segundo tange sobre as raízes da desumanização no contexto social, político e econômico do/no Haiti, a proliferação das ONGs nos últimos anos. No terceiro debruça sobre a longa história de depredação ambiental, o desmatamento acelerado e a possibilidade de uma catástrofe ecológica. E, por último terminamos com busca de alternativas, à invenção do carvão ecológico ou Briquet écologique, o fogão eficiente e nossa opção por propiciar concretamente algumas ações educativo-ambientais, a partir das práticas comunitárias do Kombit no reflorestamento para tentar diminuir gradativamente o desmatamento no Haiti.

This thesis presents na in-depth analysis about the environmental problems in Haiti. From the perspective of environmental education emancipatory, the is questions possible causes of ecological collapse Haitian; the chance to find out whe ther the Haitian people hás enough confidence in himself, in hiscapacity, in their collective will to review the fundamental softhe Haitian nation as the first Black Republic in the world? And if they are willing to make the same sacrifices collectives that lead to its independence in 1804 that are required, without resorting to dilettantism to confront the real structural problems, those that obstruct the path to social development, economic, political ande cological. And how qualitative methodology, in addition to the documentary research may help this whole process. We chose a Field work in a cooperative of Haitian peasants. So, wes plit this investigation in four chapters: the first covers historical Haiti and the colonial debt, some demographic indicators, the involvement of the researcher in this research and the religion of Voodoo in the symbolic universe of being Haitian. The second comes on the roots of dehumanization in social, political and economic context of/in Haiti, the proliferation of NGOs in recentyears. The third deals with the long history of environmental depredation, the accelerated deforestation and the possibility of an ecological disaster. And finally end with alternatives, to the invention of the ecological or coal Briquet stove efficient ecologique, and our option by providing educational and environmental actions in particular, from the practices in communities in reforesting Kombit to try to decrease gradually the deforestation in Haiti.
