Abstract:
O artigo a seguir analisa alguns conceitos estudados em História e como
esses mesmos conceitos contribuem para a construção de imagens
distorcidas dos acontecimentos, que favorecem a continuidade e o
fortalecimento dos preconceitos no reconhecimento do outro e da sua
cultura. Trazemos para a discussão alguns autores que reconhecem na
alteridade o caminho para estudarmos e ensinarmos de maneira equânime
as culturas dos povos da História.
This paper discusses some concepts in history regarding how they
contribute to the construction of distorted images of events, thereby
facilitating the continuity and strengthening of prejudices in the recognition
of others and their culture. Some authors who recognize the otherness as
a way to study and teach in an equitable manner the cultures of the
peoples of history are brought to the discussion.
