A Pesquisa-Ação como instrumento para o desenvolvimento da Educação Patrimonial na cidade do Rio Grande

Abstract

O presente texto originou-se a partir da execução do Projeto “Educação Patrimonial no Centro de Documentação Histórica da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (CDH-FURG): práticas pedagógicas e valorização dos bens culturais e ambientais junto a estudantes da educação básica rio-grandina”, atividade desenvolvida pela FURG desde março a de 2009. O referido projeto visa a implantação de um Programa de Educação Patrimonial na cidade do Rio Grande (RS); para a realização desses propósitos, optou-se pelo uso da metodologia da Pesquisa-Ação, no sentido da busca pela imersão no universo simbólico da cultura escolar local e pelo domínio prévio acerca realidade sócioeducacional dos professores da rede municipal de educação básica da cidade do Rio Grande e, também, dos seus conhecimentos e/ou desenvolvimento de atividades relacionadas à área da educação patrimonial, como forma de difundir essa metodologia e a formação de professores multiplicadores desta. Diante do exposto, apresenta-se uma análise dos resultados obtidos com o desenvolvimento da primeira fase deste projeto – a pesquisa-ação.

The present text arose from the execution of the Project of “Patrimonial Education in the Center of Historical Documentation of the University of Rio Grande (CDH-FURG): pedagogical and valorization of cultural and environmental assets with students of the basic education from Rio Grande”, the activity was developed by FURG since March 2009. The reported project aim the implantation of a Program of Patrimonial Education in the city of Rio Grande (RS); to the accomplishment of those purposes, was decided for the use of the Action Research methodology, in the sense of the search for the immersion of the symbolical universe of the local scholar culture and by the previous domain about the social and educational reality of he teachers of the municipal chain of basic education of the city of Rio Grande, and also, their knowledge and/or development of related activities with the patrimonial education area, as a way to diffuse this methodology and the formation of teachers that multiply it. In front of what was exposed, it is presented an analysis of the obtained results with the development of the first stage of this project – the action research.
