Abstract:
A pesquisa utilizou a obra REIGOTA, Marcos. O que é Educação Ambiental.
2. ed. São Paulo: Brasiliense, 2009. 107 p. ISBN: 9788511001228 a ser presenteada
aos cinco catadores de papelão, no centro da Cidade do Rio Grande, no Rio Grande
do Sul do Brasil. E essas leituras são a Rede de fundo para a investigação.
Trabalhar com os catadores, especificamente de papelão é ouvir pessoas. Ouvir
suas imagens que representam a si mesmos. A leitura vem a ser reflexãointervenção na vida e no viver dos catadores. Assume o papel de contraponto nas
construções daquilo que dizem e pensam ser Educação Ambiental. Antes da leitura,
sob uma Linguagem Cotidiana. Puro conhecimento. Nato ou adquirido pelo modo de
fazer o seu trabalho de catador. Pela instrução escolar ou não. Pelas políticas que
se estabelecem. Ante a leitura, sob uma Linguagem Controlada, elementos artificiais
de educação – interferência literária, os interlocutores da pesquisa vêm revelar o que
é Educação Ambiental.
O olhar sobre o que é Educação Ambiental é interferido pela leitura da obra de
Reigota. Ou um novo olhar se constrói e representa-se em diferente olhar. Surge,
nas pessoas, outra maneira de olhar a fotografia da natureza. Os retratos das suas
vidas e do seu trabalho de catador. Não ficarão iguais.
Olhar pela lente da revelação e utilizar do nitrato de prata – o livro O que é

Esse comparativo é o “descobrimento” da/na pesquisa. Dessa forma, responde-se

Educação Ambiental, o pesquisador é convidado por quatro (04) Bibliotecários,
egressos da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande – FURG para ante a obra de
Reigota representar conceitos sobre Educação Ambiental.
Os catadores de papelão não estão sendo convidadas a escrever artigos. Livros.
Teses. Os catadores de papelão são as pessoas que com os seus discursos e, a
reunião de suas falas constituiu o corpo teórico dessa investigação, para a Tese.

research for the thesis.
