Abstract:
O presente estudo trata-se de uma Dissertação de Mestrado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Ambiental da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande - FURG. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar como a Educação Ambiental vem sendo ensinada na Literatura Infantil. Para isso, tomou-se como objeto de análise quinze livros infantis que fazem parte do acervo complementar de obras do Plano Nacional do Livro Didático. A escolha do material deu-se principalmente por tratar-se de livros que são disponibilizados para escolas públicas de todo o Brasil, tendo assim um sem numero de crianças que tem acesso a este material. A partir da filosofia pós-estruturalista e do autor Michel Foucault, foram utilizadas algumas ferramentas da análise do discurso, afim de mapear nas histórias os enunciados referentes ao campo da Educação Ambiental. Assim a pesquisa traz dois enunciados potentes no campo da Educação Ambiental: A Potência da Culpa na Constituição dos Sujeitos Ecologicamente Corretos e As Ações Verdes como Modos Ecológicos da Produção de Sujeitos. Tais enunciados são os "átomos do discurso" para colocar em operação o que se chama, neste estudo, de Discurso de Educação Ambiental Escolarizada. Com a aproximação ao referencial teórico dos Estudos Culturais, essa investigação também procura mostrar como somos capturados pelos ditos existentes na Literatura Infantil e constituímo-nos como sujeitos de um tempo que pede um novo tipo de sujeito, o sujeito ecologicamente correto. Com o auxílio de autores do campo da Educação Ambiental, houve uma preocupação em contextualizar o leitor da abrangência do campo e da potencialidade da Literatura Infantil em produzir modos de ser e estar no mundo. Entendendo que estes ditos são tomados como verdadeiros, dada a conjuntura atual, a pesquisa questiona ainda o que nos leva a modificar nossos comportamentos em relação ao planeta e evidencia que os ensinamentos contidos nas histórias analisadas dão a ver uma espécie de manual comportamental para formar um sujeito que é engajado e responsável por suas ações.
This study is a Master's Dissertation for the Graduate Program in Environmental Education of the Federal University of Rio Grande - FURG. The aim of this study was to analyze how environmental education is being taught in Children Books. Our object of analysis was formed by fifteen children books part of the complementary collection of works from the National Textbook Plan. This choice of material occurred mainly because these are books available in public schools throughout Brazil, which enables a great number of children to have access to this material. Based on the post-structuralist philosophy and also on Michel Foucault, we used some speech analysis tools, in order to map in the stories those statements related to the field of environmental education. The research brings two strong enunciations in the field of Environmental Education: The Power of Guilt in the Constitution of the Ecologically Correct Subject; and Green Actions as Ecological Modes of Producing Subjects. Such enunciations are "speech atoms" to put into operation what is called, in this study, the Educated Environmental Education Discourse. Approaching the theoretical framework of cultural studies, we seek to show with this research how we are captured by the speeches that exist in Children Books, constituting ourselves as subjects of a time that calls for a new kind of subject, the eco-friendly subject. With the help of authors in the field of environmental education, there was a concern in contextualizing the reader of the field range and the capability of Children Books in producing ways of existing in this world. By understanding that these sayings are taken as true, given the current situation, the survey also questions what leads us to modify our behavior towards the planet and it evidences that the teachings contained in the analyzed stories are some kind of behavioral handbook to train engaged people who are responsible for their actions.
