Abstract:
O presente trabalho nasce da tentativa de resgatar parte da história da poesia venezuelana dos anos 1960, revisitando a história de movimento vanguardista mais importante desta década: O Teto da Baleia (1961-1967), a partir do estudo da obra poética de um de seus escritores fundamentais: Caupolicán Ovalles (1936-2001). A análise não é sobre toda sua poesia, senão sobre essa parte de sua produção que foi escrita na década em que esteve ativo o grupo literário. Esse trabalho vai tentar recuperar a atmosfera e o tremor que provocou a insurgência do movimento estético no contexto da jovem história da poesia moderna venezuelana. O estudo trata-se de uma pesquisa que se enquadra nos estudos de história da literatura dos anos 60, especificamente aqueles relacionados com a historiografia dos movimentos das vanguardas e pós-vanguardas da poesia de América Latina. Desde esse ponto de vista, pode-se dizer que o interesse geral da pesquisa é desenvolver uma narrativa associada à história das vanguardas do continente baseado na obra literária de um dos poetas mais representativos do grupo literário e artístico O Teto da Baleia. Para materializar esta tentativa, primeiro foram revistos os documentos relacionados com a história do grupo no contexto histórico-cultural dos movimentos pós-vanguardistas do século XX até chegar aos anos 60, e logo foram estudadas todas as publicações que fez este poeta nos dias do Teto, especificamente, os três livros de poesia que ele escreveu durante esses anos: Duerme usted señor presidente (1962) Elegía a la muerte de Guatimocín, mi padre, alias El Globo (1967) e Copa de huesos, Profanaciones (1972). Anteriormente foi dito que esse estudo tem sido focalizado nos livros escritos nos anos 60, porque a data de publicação de alguns dos poemas que Caupolicán Ovalles escreveu naquela década, não coincidiu com o ano de sua redação. Naquela época, as circunstâncias do processo de publicação eram diferentes, já que havia muito poucas editoras na Venezuela e a atividade editorial era quase inexistente. Nesse estudo, espera-se postular que a poesia deste autor apareceu como a revelação do surgimento da nova poesia informalista venezuelana da segunda metade do século XX.
The present work is born from an attempt to rescue part of the history of Venezuelan poetry in the 1960s, revisiting the history of the most important avant-garde movement of this decade: The Whale Roof (1961-1968), based on the study of the poetic work of one of its writers: Caupolicán Ovalles (1936-2001). The study is a documentary research that fits into the studies of literature history, specifically those related to the historiography of the vanguard movements of America-Latina. From this point of view, it can be said that the general objective of the research is to develop a narrative associated with the history of a vanguard movement based on the literary work of one of its most representative poets. To materialize this attempt, the documents related to the publications made by this poet in the days of the Roof were reviewed. This trip was made to analyze, according to the historical-cultural context of the posvanguardist movements of the 1960s, the three books of poetry he wrote during those years: Duerme usted señor presidente (1962) Elegía a la muerte de Guatimocín, mi padre, alias El Globo (1967) y Copa de huesos, Profanaciones (1972). Previously it was said that the work will be focused on books published and written in the 60's because the date of publication of some of the poems that Caupolicán Ovalles wrote in that decade, did not coincide with the year of his writing. At that time, the circumstances of the publication process were different, as there were few publishing houses in Venezuela. In this study it is hoped to postulate that the poetry of this author appeared as the revelation of the emergence of the new Venezuelan informalist poetry of the second half of the 20th century.
