Aprendizagem significativa no ensino de física das radiações: contribuições da educação ambiental

Abstract

O presente artigo relata uma análise preliminar de uma investigação das idéias dos alunos, do 3° ano do ensino médio, de uma escola pública estadual, do município de Rio Grande, sobre a radiação, no ensino da disciplina de Física. Argumenta-se com base nesta análise, que um dos caminhos eficazes para tornar a aprendizagem significativa e motivadora, com o objetivo de superar as idéias iniciais e de conhecer a realidade social, é com o desenvolvimento de uma unidade de aprendizagem (UA) com o tema radiação. Numa perspectiva de educação ambiental problematizadora, busca-se sistematizar e contextualizar os conceitos científicos, abordados na UA, focando os benefícios e prejuízos das aplicações das radiações no cotidiano, de maneira a contribuir com a formação de cidadãos mais críticos.

This paper reports a preliminary analises of the investigation of some ideas from the students, of the third year of a public secundary school from Rio Grande about radiation in the teaching of physics. We argument taking as base this analysis that one of the most efficient ways to become the learning more meaningful and motivating, with the objective of overcoming the earlier ideas and knowing the social reality, is with the development of a learning unit with the issue of radiation. On the environment education problematizing perspective we want to systematize and contextualize the scientific issues, that are accessible on the learning unit, focussing on the benefit and damage of the application of radiation on the society daily life, in order to contribute with the formation of more critical citizens.
