Abstract:
Ocupações irregulares em áreas inadequadas são comuns na grande maioria das cidades brasileiras. Normalmente sem qualquer infra-estrutura, são procuradas para resolver os problemas da população de baixa renda, constituindo um problema social. Dados capturados por sensor digital de pequeno formato são ideais pela facilidade de manipulação e baixo custo, com alta resolução espacial. Este trabalho mostra a utilidade do sistema ADAR 1000 nas condições atuais do loteamento irregular Querência III, localizado perto de linha de costa (dunas frontais) da cidade de Rio Grande, RS.
