Abstract:
O presente trabalho tem por objetivo principal instigar a reflexão crítica acerca da temática da promoção da saúde no contexto da Educação Física escolar. Constitui-se em uma revisão da literatura, em que se contrapõem achados de outros autores com o ponto de vista do autor deste artigo. Inicialmente, são feitos alguns comentários preliminares, expondo as razões que motivaram a realização deste trabalho. A seguir, discute-se o atual modelo de Educação Física escolar e seus paradigmas. Posteriormente, aborda-se a importância da prática regular de atividade física para a promoção da saúde. Logo após, são propostas algumas estratégias para desenvolver uma Educação Física direcionada à saúde no contexto escolar. Ao final, são retomados, brevemente, alguns pontos que foram debatidos ao longo do texto.
The main objective of the present work is to insti gate a critical reflection about the
theme health promotion in the Physical Education context. It consists of a literature review that put in front of the finds of other authors with the point of view of this author’s paper. Initially, some preliminary comments are done, exposing the reasons that motivate the development of this work. Further, the current model of scholar Physical Education and its paradigms are discussed. After, the importance of regular physical activity practice on health
promotion is introduced. In the next topic, some strategies to perform a Physical Education towards health in the scholar context are proposed. Finally, some points debated in the text are recovered in brief.
