Abstract:
Estudo de caso acerca da formação da república brasileira segundo o olhar do jornal humorístico português charivari, analisando as construções discursivas e as imagens edificadas pela folha a partir das repercussões em suas páginas do processo de implantação da nova forma de governo no Brasil, com ênfase à proclamação e as primeiras crises pelas quais passou o regime republicano.
A case study is carried out regarding the formation of the brazilian republic according to the view of the Portuguese humor newspaper Charivari. Discursive constructions and images built by sheet from repercussions in its pages of the process of implementing the new form of government in Brazil are analyzed, with emphasis on the proclamation and the crisis which passed the republican regime.
