Abstract:
“Stool” é como é chamada a estrutura que compõe um dos apoios que suportam os módulos de algumas plataformas do tipo navio, a exemplo da P-53, a qual se encontra em fase final de construção em Rio Grande/RS. Estes módulos são apoiados em quatro stools, dois deslizantes (que não oferecem restrição a deslocamentos longitudinais) e dois fixos (com restrição em todas as direções). Acerca desta configuração de suportação de módulos existem algumas dúvidas, as quais se pretende esclarecer com a medição dos esforços e deslocamentos relativos sobre esses stools, para o qual foi implementado um sistema de monitoramento destas grandezas. Nestes foram instalados extensômetros para quantificar indiretamente os esforços atuantes que irão realimentar modelos numéricos para extrapolação dos resultados para toda estrutura. No total serão instalados na plataforma 69 sensores (extensômetros, lvdt’s e acelerômetros).
Stool is the structure that is part of the support system of process plant modules of some offshore platforms, such as Petrobras P-53, which is at the end of construction at Rio Grande/RS, Brazil. These modules are supported by four stools, two sliding (where the module pad is free to slide in the longitudinal direction), and two fixed (that restricts the displacement in all directions). About this type of support system there are some questions, which this work intends to answer with the measurement of some variable,
like strain and relative displacement at these stools, for that it was designed a monitoring
system. For this purpose it was installed strain gages to quantify indirectly the loads acting on the stool, which outputs will feed numeric models that will predict the behavior of all structure of the stool. It will be installed 69 sensors, among them strain gages, accelerometers and lvdt’s.
