Abstract:
O interesse em estudar as redes sociais vem crescendo significativamente
em diversas áreas do conhecimento. Sendo a Ciência da Informação uma área
interdisciplinar que interessa-se por estudos a cerca das questões relacionadas
com a comunicação, o conhecimento e seus registros. Este artigo tem por objetivo
verificar o uso de redes sociais como fonte de informação. Apresenta os
resultados de um estudo de caso da rede social utilizada pelos docentes,
discentes e egressos do curso de biblioteconomia da FURG, analisando seu uso
como fonte informação, os resultados foram obtidos por meio da aplicação de
questionário enviado por email aos membros da rede. A pesquisa revelou que os
membros a utilizam como instrumento para compartilhar informação entre a
comunidade acadêmica da FURG.
The interest in studying the social nets comes growing significantly in
diverse areas of the knowledge. Being the Science of the Information an area of
interdisciplinary that one is interested for studies about the questions related with
the communication, the knowledge and its registers. This article has for objective to
verify the use of social nets as information source. It presents the results of a study
of case of the social net used by the professors, learning and egresses of the
course of biblioteconomia of the FURG, analyzing its use as source information,
the results had been gotten by means of the application of questionnaire sent for
email to the members of the net. The research disclosed that they use it to the
members as instrument to share information enters the academic community of the
FURG.
