Abstract:
Este artigo apresenta o resultado da pesquisa sobre o grau de conhecimento dos
formandos das áreas das licenciaturas em Biologia, Letras – Português, e
Pedagogia, sobre a importância da biblioteca e do trabalho interdisciplinar entre
educadores e bibliotecários. Os resultados mostram que os currículos dos cursos
de licenciatura não contemplam questões relacionadas às bibliotecas. Percebemos
que não há propostas ao desenvolvimento de atividades integradas e
interdisciplinares, o que promoveria a integração da biblioteca escolar na vida
docente pós academia. O papel da universidade é essencial na formação de
educadores competentes e pró ativos, inseridos na biblioteca escolar, debatendo
sobre bibliografia destinada a uma pesquisa científica, exigindo e sugerindo acervo
condizente com a necessidade da sua disciplina, e orientando, juntamente com o
profissional bibliotecário, o aluno na iniciação à pesquisa científica. Para isso é
necessário repensar currículos acadêmicos de forma a valorizar a biblioteca
escolar como ferramenta de trabalho, no futuro exercício da docência.
This article presents the results of research on the degree of awareness of
undergraduate students in the areas of Biology, Letters - Portuguese and
pedagogy, on the importance of libraries and the interdisciplinary work between
educators and librarians. The results show that the curriculums of undergraduate
programs do not address issues related to libraries. We realize that there are no
proposals to develop integrated, interdisciplinary activities, which promote theimportance of integrating the school library to life after teaching academy, and that
the education of today is of paramount importance. We believe that the role of the
university is essential in the formation of competent instructors and pro-active,
entered the school library, discussing literature aimed at a scientific research,
requiring collection and suggesting the need for consistent with their discipline and
guidance, along with the professional librarians, students in initiating scientific
research, but for this it is necessary to rethink academic curriculum in order to
enhance the school library as a tool for the future practice of teaching
