Abstract:
Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar, através de pesquisa realizada, a opinião da comunidade escolar das
escolas E.M.E.F. Assis Brasil, I.E.E.Juvenal Muller, E.M.E.F. Rui Poester, E.E.E.F. Treze de Maio ̈, acerca do
que a biblioteca escolar tem a oferecer e que atividades podem desenvolver para se tornar um espaço atrativo e
conseqüentemente freqüentado. A partir do conhecimento das percepções dos alunos acerca da Biblioteca
Escolar, das necessidades no que se refere aos produtos e serviços oferecidos por este espaço educacional,
pretende-se mostrar qual a preferência de leitura do jovem e apresentar propostas de atividades que possam
contribuir para o incentivo e a prática de leitura. Desta forma junto com os bibliotecários ou responsáveis das
bibliotecas buscar atender as necessidade no tocante às práticas de incentivo à leitura da comunidade escolar e
apresentar propostas de atividades que venham contribuir para a dinamização deste espaço.
This article aims to present, through research, the opinion of the school community schools E.M.E.F. Assis
Brasil, I.E.E.Juvenal Muller, E.M.E.F. ,Rui Poester, E.E.E.F. ,Treze de Maio ̈, about what the school library has
to offer and what activities can develop to become an attractive space and therefore attended. From the
knowledge of students' perceptions about the school library, the needs with regard to products and services
offered by this educational space, which is intended to show a preference for reading the young and proposals for
activities that may contribute to the encouragement and reading practice. Thus along with librarians or heads of
libraries seek to meet the need with respect to practices to encourage reading in the school community and
submit proposals for activities that may contribute to the revitalization of this area.
