Práticas de incentivo à leitura com alunos do 3º ano do ensino fundamental das escolas do município do Rio Grande/RS

Abstract

O presente artigo é resultado de pesquisa realizada como Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso, para a obtenção do grau de Bacharel em Biblioteconomia. No segundo semestre de 2010 foi aplicado como instrumento de coleta de dados um questionário, visando levantar as informações que possibilitassem analisar, em termos qualitativos, a existência, ou não, das práticas de incentivo à leitura, realizadas com alunos do 3º ano do Ensino Fundamental das escolas municipais, estaduais e particulares do Município do Rio Grande/RS como objetivo geral. Entre os resultados pode-se destacar a quase inexistência de práticas de incentivo à leitura nas escolas, além de não possuir biblioteca em escolas particulares. A necessidade de a escola incluir em seu currículo político/pedagógico a realização de atividades de incentivo à leitura. Principalmente a contratação de bibliotecários para que professores e bibliotecários mantenham uma linearidade nestas atividades, pois assim os alunos poderão sanar suas dúvidas tanto em sala de aula como na biblioteca escolar e a interatividade entre estes profissionais

This article is the result of research carried out as Work for the Conclusion of course, for obtaining the degree of Baccalaureate Librarianship. In the second half of 2010 was applied as an instrument of data collection a questionnaire, to raise the information that would enable analyze, in qualitative terms, the existence, or not, of the practices of incentive to reading, carried out with students in the year 3 of the Fundamental Teaching the municipal schools, state and individuals of the Municipality of Rio Grande/RS general objective. Between the results may-highlight the almost nonexistence of practices for the encouragement of reading in schools, besides not possess library in the private schools. The need for the school include in their curricula political/pedagogical carrying out activities for the encouragement of reading. Mainly the recruitment of librarians that teachers and librarians maintain a linearity in these activities, so that pupils will remedy its doubts both in the classroom and school libraries and interactivity between these professionals.
