Biblioterapia: produção bibliográfica e aplicabilidade

Abstract

Este projeto busca identificar, nos periódicos nacionais da área de biblioteconomia e no Banco de Teses do portal Capes, a produção documental sobre Biblioterapia entre os anos 2000 e 2011. Considerando que a biblioterapia tornou-se um campo a ser explorado por nós bibliotecários verificou-se a necessidade de analisar o que tem sido revelado sobre este tema e como tem se dado a aplicação da biblioterapia no Brasil. A técnica biblioterapêutica não se limita a leitura de textos, mas contempla ainda a discussão a respeito do lido, a interpretação individual de cada indivíduo. É uma técnica que busca através de uma leitura dirigida, proporcionar o bem estar dos envolvidos, aliviar as tensões diárias, além de incitar o imaginário e de estabelecer melhor compreensão para os desafios que nos são impostos pela vida. Ao final deste estudo, foi possível perceber que existe uma carência de estudos que abordem o assunto, porém a literatura apresenta as técnicas biblioterápicas como um processo eficiente de cura, de lazer e de estímulo à leitura. Concluiu-se ainda que o bibliotecário possui papel fundamental no desenrolar deste processo. Sendo assim, urge a necessidade de se pensar em melhor preparar estes profissionais para o desenvolvimento de atividades de cunho social e humanitário.

This project seeks to identify in national journals in the field of librarianship and the Capes’s Theses Portal, a document production about Bibliotherapy between 2000 and 2011. Whereas the bibliotherapy has become a field to be explored by librarians there was a need to analyze what has been revealed about this subject and has been given to the application of bibliotherapy in Brazil. This technique is not limited to reading texts, but also includes the discussion of the reading, the individual interpretation of each individual. It is a technique that searches through a directed reading, providing the welfare of those involved, to relieve the daily stresses, and stir the imagination and to establish better understanding for the challenges imposed on us by life. At the end of this study, it was revealed that there is a lack of studies that address the issue, but the literature shows that bibliotherapy’s techniques as an efficient process of healing, recreation and stimulating reading. It was also concluded that the librarian has a primary role in the unfolding of this process. Thus, there is urgent need to think better prepare these professionals for the development of social and humanitarian activities.
