Abstract:
Estudo métrico sobre as características de produção e colaboração científica nas ciências jurídicas no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Foram identificadas as instituições com cursos que obtiveram as melhores avaliações do Ministério da Educação e através de consulta aos currículos dos professores foi criado um banco de dados da produção científica dos mesmos. Os dados foram coletados da Plataforma Lattes do CNPq e tabulados em uma planilha do software Microsoft Excel, organizados pelos seguintes campos: a) nome do professor; b) instituição de vínculo; c) tipologia da publicação; d) ano da publicação; e) número de autores. Foram processados 6.021 registros, sendo 2.210 artigos, 1.444 capítulos de livros, 930 Artigos completos publicados e anais, 730 resumos em anais de eventos e 726 livros. Os anos de publicação variaram entre 1970 e 2015, tendo o maior pico de publicações em 2013. A instituição que se destacou com maior quantidade de publicações foi a UFRGS (2.758 trabalhos), seguida de UFSM (1.548 trabalhos), FURG (1.076 trabalhos) e UFPEL (639 trabalhos). Quando analisada a média de publicações por docentes e suas respectivas instituições, verificou-se que os docentes da UFSM, ocupam a posição de liderança (média = 53,4 publicações por docente), em segundo lugar está a UFRGS com 45,2 publicações por docente, depois a FURG com 33,6 e UFPEL com 24,0. Portanto, os docentes da Universidade de Santa Maria são mais produtivos, especialmente se comparados com os da Universidade Federal de Pelotas. Entre os docentes mais produtivos verificou-se que seis são vinculados a UFRGS, cinco com a UFSM, quatro com a FURG e somente um da UFPEL. Em relação às características de autorias, verificou-se que os docentes das ciências jurídicas publicam seus trabalhos, em sua grande maioria, individualmente (60,3%) ou duplas (26,1%). Considera-se que este trabalho representa uma contribuição para reduzir a carência de estudos métricos nas ciências jurídicas e também apoio para pesquisas futuras sobre a mesma área.
Metric study about the characteristics of scientific production and collaboration in legal sciences in the state of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil. Institutions with courses that obtained the best ratings according to the Ministry of Education were identified and, by consulting the curricula of teachers, a database was created with their scientific production. Data were collected from Lattes platform, from CNPq, and tabulated in a Microsoft Excel software spreadsheet, organized in the following fields: a) teacher's name; b) bonding institution; c) type of publication; d) year of publication; e) number of authors. 6.021 items were processed, and 2.210 articles, 1,444 book chapters, 930 complete articles published, 730 abstracts in conference proceedings and 726 books. Year of publication ranged between 1970 and 2015, with the highest peak of publications in 2013. The institution that stood out with the highest number of publications was UFRGS (2,758 publications), followed by UFSM (1,548 publications), FURG (1,076 publications) and UFPEL (639 publications). When analyzing the average of publications by professors and their respective institutions, we found that teachers from UFSM occupy the leading position (mean = 53.4 publications per faculty member). In second is UFRGS with 45.2 publications per faculty member, then FURG with 33.6 and UFPEL with 24.0. Therefore, the teachers of the University of Santa Maria are more productive, especially if compared with those from the Federal University of Pelotas. Among the most productive teachers it was found that six are linked to UFRGS, five with UFSM, four with FURG and only one with UFPEL. Regarding authorship characteristics, it was found that teachers of legal sciences publish their work mostly individually (60.3%) or with a single partner (26.1%). We consider that this work represents a contribution to reducing the shortage of metric studies in legal sciences and support for further research on the same area.
