A questão da confiança na TCT e nos estudos de redes sociais: aproximação e contradições

Abstract

O campo dos estudos da estratégia contempla várias abordagens teóricas que tentam explicar diversos fenômenos. Duas dessas abordagens trazem aproximações e contradições em seus estudos: a teoria dos custos de transação (TCT) e os estudos de redes sociais. Nestas duas abordagens um tema que se mostra interessante para estudo é o da confiança nas relações de negócios, pois as duas visões associam a confiança à estrutura social. Desse modo, o presente artigo tem como objetivo identificar as aproximações e contradições da TCT e dos estudos de redes sociais no que tange a questão da confiança. Na abordagem TCT, os trabalhos de Williamson (1979, 1983, 1985, 1996) foram analisados e, nos estudos de redes sociais, a abordagem da sociologia econômica foi privilegiada, através das leituras dos trabalhos de Granovetter (1984, 1985, 1992). Os pressupostos das transações desenvolvidos por Oliver Williamson e Mark Granovetter abrem um espaço para relacionar os modelos econômicos e modelos de redes sociais. Neste artigo, foram encontradas três aproximações e contradições. Apesar das dificuldades relativas à tentativa de utilizar uma mesma linguagem de interação das duas obras, retoma-se, por fim, o ponto positivo, de ter sido feito um exercício intelectual, podendo propiciar um amadurecimento de idéias e posições sobre a obra dos dois autores.

The field of the studies of the strategy contemplates some theoretical boardings that try to explain diverse phenomena. Two of these boardings bring approaches and contradictions in its studies: the theory of the transaction costs (TCT) and the studies of social nets. In these two boardings a subject that if it shows interesting for study is of the confidence in the business-oriented relations, therefore the two vision associate the confidence to the social structure. In this manner, the present article has as objective to identify to the approaches and contradictions of the TCT and the studies of social nets in what it refers to the question of the confidence. In boarding TCT, the works of Williamson (1979, 1983, 1985, 1996) had been analyzed and in the studies of social nets, the boarding of economic sociology was privileged, through the readings of the works of Granovetter (1984, 1985, 1992). The estimated ones developed by Oliver Williamson and Mark Granovetter of the transactions open a space to relate the economic models and models of social nets. In this article three approaches and contradictions had been found. Although the relative difficulties to the attempt to use one same language of interaction of the two workmanships the point is retaken finally positive, to have been done an intellectual exercise, being able to propitiate a matureness of ideas and position on the workmanship of the two authors.
