Abstract:
Este artigo foi entregue como requisito parcial de avaliação da
Disciplina Cultura, Memória e Patrimônio. O texto discorre sobre três
monumentos que representam uma parte da História do Brasil. Um
deles, de fato monumento histórico e os outros dois como esculturas
memoriais. A intenção é indicar elementos culturais que cercam os
monumentos, tanto ideologicamente quanto simbolicamente.
This paper has been made as a partial requirement for the
assessment of a course on “Culture, Memory and Heritage”. The text
is about three monuments that represent apart of the History of Brazil.
One of them is a historical monument in fact, but the other two are
sculptural memorials. The intention is to point out the cultural
elements surrounding the monuments, both ideologically and
symbolically.
