Abstract:
Este estudo teve por objetivo analisar a produção científica sobre digitalização de
documentos nos periódicos eletrônicos de acesso aberto da área da Ciência da
Informação e Biblioteconomia de universidades estaduais e federais do Brasil no
período de 2011 a 2015. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa bibliográfica do tipo
descritiva, sob abordagem metodológica quantitativa. Inferiu como método de
analisa a bibliometria, fundamentada em duas de suas leis, a Lei de Lotka e a Lei de
Bradford. Neste sentido procurou identificar segundo a Lei de Bradford, o índice de
produções e os periódicos que mais produzem sobre o tema, bem como verificar de
acordo com a Lei de Lotka, as autorias relacionadas à produção cientifica sobre a
temática do estudo, assim como suas áreas de formação. Este estudo teve como
ponto inicial uma lista do CBR6 com 39 instituições distribuídas pelo país, que
possuem curso de biblioteconomia e/ou ciência da informação a partir desta, foram
selecionadas para o estudo as universidades estaduais e federais. Sendo assim o
universo da pesquisa ficou composto por 11 instituições, destas foram recuperados
19 periódicos vinculados a seus portais. Logo, foi concretizada a procura de
publicações que tivessem relevância com o tema de estudo, no total foram
recuperados 21 documentos, destes 64% eram de artigos, outro fator apontado
refere-se a média de publicações por ano, representando 4,2% produções. Diante
da analise das publicações identificou-se que dos 47 autores, apenas 3 destes
possuem mais de uma publicação, todos os demais autores possuem a mesma
equivalência de publicações. Constatou-se também neste estudo, que não houve a
perfeita correspondência da Lei de Lotka, pois os dados desta pesquisa
demonstraram, que embora um pequeno grupo destacou-se por escrever mais sobre
o assunto, estes não produziram parte significativa das publicações, no entanto o
estudo apontou que, em concordância com a Lei de Bradford,o periódico Múltiplo
Olhares em Ciência da Informação, representa o núcleo da produção científica, pois
o maior índice de publicações sobre o tema desta pesquisa centralizou-se neste
periódico.Finalmente, estima-se que este estudo possa servir de base para novas
pesquisas na área de biblioteconomia motivando maior abordagem acerca da
Digitalização de Documentos.
This study aimed to analyze the scientific production on digitalization of documents in
the open access electronic journals of the Information Science and Library Science
field of state and federal universities in Brazil from 2011 to 2015. It is characterized
as a bibliographical research of the type Descriptive, under quantitative
methodological approach. He referred to bibliometrics, based on two of his laws,
Lotka's Law and Bradford's Law as a method of analysis. In this sense, he sought to
identify, according to the Bradford Law, the index of productions and the periodicals
that produce the most on the subject, as well as to verify according to the Law of
Lotka, the authors related to the scientific production on the subject of the study, as
well as Areas. This study had as a starting point a list of the CBR6 with 26 institutions
distributed throughout the country, which have a course in librarianship and / or
information science from this, were selected for the study the state and federal
universities. Thus, the research universe was composed of 11 institutions, of which
18 journals linked to its portals were retrieved. Therefore, the search for publications
that had relevance to the study topic was completed, in total 21 documents were
recovered, of these 64% were articles, another factor is the average of publications
per year, representing 4.2% of productions . Before the analysis of the publications, it
was identified that of the 47 authors, only 3 of them have more than one publication,
all the other authors have the same equivalence of publications. It was also found in
this study that there was no perfect correspondence of Lotka's Law, Because the
data of this research showed that although a small group stood out for writing more
on the subject, they did not produce a significant part of the publications, however
study pointed out that, in agreement with the Law of Bradford, the journal Multiple
Looks in Science Of information, represents the nucleus of scientific production,
since the greatest index of publications on the subject of this research was centered
in this periodical. I consider this study satisfactory, since it was possible to respond to
the objectives proposed in this study, but I draw attention to the need Of the increase
of publications on document digitalization, since the index of scientific production is
considered unsatisfactory, compared to the number of authors recovered in this
research. Finally, it is estimated that this study may serve as a basis for new
research in the area of librarianship, motivating a greater approach to Document
Scanning.
