Abstract:
A referente pesquisa possui como tem principal as memórias da
biblioteca comunitária da ASCALIXO, na cidade do Rio Grande, RS. Os
sujeitos de pesquisa
, gestores da ASCALIXO,
relataram através de entrevista
s
realizadas durante o ano de 2016, nos quais são evidenciadas suas
experiências durante o tempo em que aquela biblioteca esteve em
funcionamento por mais de duas décadas. Foi utilizado o método de hist
ória
oral, pesquisa qualitativa e entrevista semi
–
es
truturada como técnica de
pesquisa.
Esta pesquisa possui como objetivo geral, relatar as memórias da extinta
biblioteca comunitária da ASCALIXO, situada na rua Lino Neves, 790, no bairro
Salgado Filho, abordando as dificuldades encontradas que fi
zeram a
ASCALIXO
desativar a biblioteca comunitária.
Os objetivos específicos desta pesquisa, foram permitir conhecer a
história da biblioteca comunitária da ASCALIXO, através da história oral,
pesquisa qualitativa e entrevista semi
-
estruturada como técni
ca de pesquisa.
Os resultados obtidos pela pesquisadora, atederam as expectativas
esperadas, na qual foram relatadas as memórias da extinta biblioteca e
permitiu
-
nos perceber os benefícios que a biblioteca extinta trouxe a
comunidade, que pode usufruir de
la por mais de duas décadas, contribuindo
com seu acervo de livros não organizados adequadamente e
profissionalmente.
Consideramos que as dificuldades encontradas causaram o fechamento
d
a
biblioteca que, de certa forma, desamparou esta comunidade local,
principalmente porque tinham naquela biblioteca o seu único refúgio para
responder as pesquisas
. Esta
pesquisa buscou as memórias, os sentimentos,
as lembranças da ASCALIXO e do entorno da
sua comunidade, relatar essas
memórias, mas não podemos fazer nada e tão pouco foi prometido algo em
relação a biblioteca extinta e a ASCALIXO.

The results obtained by the researcher, met the expectations expected,
in which the memories of the extinct library were reported and allowed us to
perceive the benefits that the extinct library brought to the community, which
can enjoy it for more than two decades, contributing with its collection of Books
not organized properly and professionally.
We consider that the difficulties encountered caus
ed the closure of the
library that, in a way, abandoned this local community, mainly because they had
in that library their only refuge to respond to the research. This research sought
the memories, feelings, memories of ASCALIXO and the surroundings of it
s
community, to report these memories, but we can not do anything and so little
was promised about the extinct library and ASCALIXO.
