Abstract:
Os novos métodos de ensino tem sido um grande desafio para os educadores,
após o surgimento de novos materiais que podem ser utilizados como recurso
de ensino. Por isso, buscou-se analisar como os multimeios estão sendo usados
pelos professores do ensino fundamental da Escola Tellechea da cidade de Rio
Grande-RS. Após levantamento dos recursos disponíveis, constatou-se como os
multimeios são organizados e quais são os recursos mais utilizados. Também
verificaram-se quais os fatores que influenciam no uso dos multimeios e as
dificuldades encontradas em relação ao uso. Enfatizou-se a importância da
inclusão dos multimeios no acervo das bibliotecas. A metodologia utilizada foi de
abordagem qualitativa, a coleta se deu por meio de questionário aplicado a 20
professores, e entrevista com a responsável pela biblioteca. A análise de
conteúdo dos dados obtidos revelou que a escola não dispõe de muitos recursos
e, que esses materiais estão obsoletos. Verificou-se ainda, que de alguma forma
os multimeios são usados, porém, é preciso um envolvimento maior da biblioteca
nas ações educativas e pedagógicas da escola. Constatou-se que muitos
aspectos precisam ser melhorados no que se refere ao uso dos multimeios para
o desenvolvimento de atividades que contribuam para que haja mudanças
positivas no processo educacional. Desses aspectos destacamos a integração
entre os professores, a direção da escola e o bibliotecário, profissional
fundamental que, neste caso, a escola não possui.
The new teaching methods have been a great challenge for educators after the
emergence of new materials that can be used as a teaching resource. Therefore,
we sought to analyze how the multimedia are being used by the elementary
school teachers of the Tellechea School in the city of Rio Grande-RS. After
surveying the available resources, it was verified how multimedia are organized
and what are the most used resources. It was also verified which factors influence
the use of multimedia and the difficulties encountered in relation to the use. The
importance of including multimedia in the library collection was emphasized. The
methodology used was qualitative approach; the collection was done through a
questionnaire applied to 20 teachers, and interview with the person in charge of
the library. The content analysis of the data obtained revealed that the school
does not have many resources and that these materials are obsolete. It was also
verified that somehow the multimedia are used, however, it is necessary a greater
involvement of the library in the educational and pedagogical actions of the
school. It has been found that many aspects need to be improved regarding the
use of multimedia for the development of activities that contribute to positive
changes in the educational coprocess. Of these aspects we highlight the
integration between the teachers, the direction of the school and the librarian, a
fundamental professional that, in this case, the school does not have.
