Abstract:
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo averiguar o nível da Competência em Informação dos alunos formandos do curso de Biblioteconomia da FURG, por meio da aplicação e validação de um teste de Competência em Informação elaborado por Boh Podgornik et al.(2015). O referencial teórico tem por finalidade definir os seguintes temas: Competência em Informação, Competência em Informação no âmbito acadêmico e uso de testes de validação de Competência em informação. Utilizou-se uma pesquisa aplicada, com objetivo exploratória e abordagem quantiqualitativa. O universo da pesquisa foi os 27 formandos, dos quais 15 alunos responderam um questionário com 40 questões fechadas, cada questão possui quatro possíveis respostas, mas apenas uma sendo a correta. Obtiveram-se como resultados que os discentes possuem a falta de conhecimento e compreensão em Competência em Informação, temas relacionados à propriedade intelectual e ética através das subescalas (B3 = 58%, A5 = 56%, C3 = 54%),nas quais a B3 trata da propriedade intelectual e ética; A5 de compreender os aspectos econômicos, legais e sociais questões em torno do uso das informações, e acessar e usar informações de maneira ética e legal e C3 na qual se trata de ética.
The aim of this study is to investigate the level of Information Literacy of students graduating from the FURG Librarianship course through the application and validation of an Information Literacy test developed by Boh Podgornik et al. (2015). The theoretical framework aims to define the following topics: Information Literacy, Information Literacy in the academic field and use of validation tests of information Literacy. An applied research, with exploratory objective and quantitative-qualitative approach was used. The research universe was the 27 students, of whom 15 students answered a questionnaire with 40 closed questions, each question has four possible answers, but only one is correct. The results obtained are that students have a lack of knowledge and understanding in Information Literacy, intellectual property issues and ethics through the subscales (B3 = 58%, A5 = 56%, C3 = 54%), in which the B3 deals with intellectual property and ethics; A5 to understand the economic, legal and social issues surrounding the use of information, and access and use information in an ethical and legal manner and C3 in which it is ethical.
