O artigo analisa a conjuntura de crise econômico-social
vivida na cidade do Rio Grande quando da eclosão do Golpe de 1964
e identifica a posição do jornal frente ao momento político.
The paper analyzes the situation of economic and social
crisis in the city of Rio Grande at the outbreak of the 1964 coup and
identifies the position of the newspaper front to the political moment.
