Otimização da mão de obra e definição do layout de uma linha de montagem de lixeiras

Abstract

Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa que teve como objetivo a reestruturação de uma linha de montagem, através da reestruturação do layout, com o apoio da ferramenta (GBO) - Gráfico de Balanceamento de Operação. A pesquisa constitui na realização de um Estudo de Caso aplicado em uma empresa que atua no ramo de utilidades domésticas, sendo uma das maiores do Brasil, atuando no mercado há 29 anos. A pesquisa teve como foco o setor de montagem da divisão de lixeiras. Como resultado foi possível a melhoria do processo de montagem através da reestruturação do layout de montagem com o apoio da ferramenta GBO. Por fim, são expostos os benefícios e ganhos obtidos para a organização com a coleta de dados.

This paper presents the results of a research that aimed at the restructuring of an assembly line, through the restructuring of the layout, with the support of the tool (GBO) - Operation Balancing Chart. The research consists of a Case Study applied in a company that operates in the domestic utilities business, being one of the largest in Brazil, operating in the market for 29 years. The research focused on the assembly sector of the garbage division. As a result it was possible to improve the assembly process through the restructuring of the assembly layout with the support of the GBO tool. Finally, the benefits and gains obtained for the organization with the collection of dataare presented.
