Abstract:
Este trabalho mostra as características parciais do acervo da Discoteca do Centro de Artes da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel). A base de dados com a descrição do acervo de discos de vinil foi analisada, quantitativamente, com o objetivo de identificar os principais intérpretes, compositores e período de abrangência. Foi uma opção metodológica, justificada pelo tempo dis, neste caso os discos em vinil de música gaúcha. Durante as atividades desenvolvidas surgiu a necessidade de trabalhar o acervo em outros níveis, tais como classificar e indexar itens, além de melhorar o banco de dados que descreve os itens da discoteca. No que se refere às análises quantitativas do acervo já inserido na base de dados (n=4.382) os resultados mostraram que a maioria dos itens catalogados até o momento são de música popular brasileira. O compositor com o maior número de obras identificadas foi Caetano Veloso (n=76), o intérprete com o maior número de itens foi ngela Maria (N=119) e a temporalidade dos discos analisados compreende 56 anos (1948-2004), sendo a maioria da década de 1980..
This workshowshow it is classified,indexed and organized part of the collection of vinyls disco arts center UFPel, because it still is fully inserted into the database, so was analyzed only the portion contained in the database.The aim was to study the main features of the collection, such as the temporal scope of the collection, identify the interpreter who has the most number of cataloged items, identify different musical genres, reviewing existing data in the catalog to identify possible error sand inconsistent data and formulate strategies for organization, access and dissemination of the collection.Through the analysis performed on the database where the collection is inserted, it can be said that most of the items are cataloged in Brazilian popular music, where the composer with the largest number of works was Caetano Veloso recorded 76 records and the interpreter with the largest number of records was Angela Maria with 119 record sand the temporality of the items analyzed the year 1980 was the most frequent type 236 records, with this we can say that a large part of the collection is analyzed Brazilian popular music of 1980
