Perfil do bibliotecário escolar da secretaria de município da educação (SMEd), Rio Grande/RS

Abstract

No mundo em que vivemos tudo tem sido visto pela ótica do imediatismo. Mas torna-se necessário atentar para as bases educacionais do país. O município do Rio Grande é um dos que tem o privilégio de contar com o profissional bibliotecário. A busca da informação é que faz a diferença na formação profissional. Observa-se, nesse sentido, que a biblioteca não é apenas mais um espaço na escola, ela pode ser um recurso didático pedagógico para o professor juntamente com o bibliotecário, formando uma parceria na promoção da facilidade de acesso e treinamento para os que dela vão usufruir. Este trabalho teve como objetivo geral investigar o perfil do bibliotecário escolar da Secretaria de Município da Educação de Rio Grande e como objetivos específicos: conhecer o perfil destes Bibliotecários quanto a sua formação; investigar se trabalhar em biblioteca escolar era o pretendido; verificar se participam das reuniões pedagógicas da escola em que trabalham; inferir se realizam alguma atividade/projeto em parceria com os professores da escola onde atuam no intuito de incentivar a leitura; e por fim, apresentar os resultados à SMEd. Entre os principais resultados destacamos 100% são do gênero feminino, formadas pela FURG e que 73% das respondentes já pretendia atuar em biblioteca escolar desde a sua graduação, por terem realizado estágios na área ou simplesmente por gostar de ter contato e trabalhar com as crianças. Afirmam também que pretendem seguir exercendo a profissão nesta área. 64% participam das reuniões pedagógicas juntamente com os professores e diretores da escola e consideram extremamente importante esta interação. Nas considerações ressaltamos que até pouco tempo não havia esta profissão no quadro profissional do município. Certamente, há menos de 13 anos não havia.Sendo que o curso de Bacharel em biblioteconomia completa 39 anos em 2014. Crê-se que esta é uma conquista da classe bibliotecária.

In the world we live in everything has been seen through the perspective of immediacy. But it is necessary to considerthe educational foundations of the country. The municipality of Rio Grande is one who has the privilege of having the professional librarian. The quest for information is what makes the difference in training. It is observed, in this sense, that the library is not just a space in the school, it can be an educational resource for teaching with the teacher librarian, forming a partnership to promote ease of access and training to those who go it enjoy. This work had as main objective to investigate the profile of the school librarian of the Education Department of the Municipality of Rio Grande and specific objectives: to know the profile of these librarians as their training; investigate whether working in the school library was intended; verify that participate in educational school assemblies in which they work; infer whether perform some activity / project in partnership with the school teachers where they work in order to encourage reading; and finally present the results of SMED. The main results include100% are female, formed by FURG and that 73% of respondents intended to act now on school library since their graduation, because they held internships in the area or simply like to have contact and work with children . They also state that intend to continue exercising the profession in this area. 64% participate in educational meetings with teachers and school principals and consider extremely important this interaction.In considerations emphasize that until recently there was this profession in the professional context of the municipality.
