Abstract:
O presente trabalho tem por objetivo geral pesquisar usuários da Terceira Idade na Biblioteca Pública Municipal Amaury dos Santos, no Balneário Cassino, sobre informações falsas (fake news).Este tema surgiu devido ao grande compartilhamento de notícias falsas na Internet, e resolvemos analisar o facebook e o whatssap e tivemos uma preocupação com os Idosos, visto que não estão tão acostumados a usar a Internet, como os jovens que nasceram nessa geração que esta sempre conectada. A pesquisa é qualitativa com a aplicação de uma entrevista com perguntas semiestruturadas, visando saber o entendimento que os usuários da Terceira Idade da Biblioteca Amaury dos Santos tem sobre fake news. Foram feitas diversas pesquisas em bases de dados científicas, periódicos, Google acadêmico, para fazer o levantamento de materiais relevantes para o tema da pesquisa. A finalidade é ajudá-los a identificar fake news com as oito orientações da IFLA–Como Identificar Notícias Falsas e mostrar a eles a Agência Lupa que trabalha com checagem dos fatos. A pesquisa se fez importante para que os idosos estejam sempre alerta e saibam identificar as fake news e das consequências de divulgá-las.
The present work has as general objective, to search Seniors users in the Amaury dos Santos Municipal Public Library, in Balneário Cassino, about fake news. This theme arose due to the large sharing of fake news on the internet, and we decided to analyze facebookand whatssapand had a concern with the Elderly, as they are not as used to using the internet as the young people born in this generation that is always connected. The research is qualitative with the application of an interview with semi-structured questions, aiming to know the understanding that the Amaury dos Santos Library Seniors users have about fake news, several searches were made in scientific databases, periodicals, Google academic, to survey relevant materials for the research theme. The goal is to help them identify fake news with the eight IFLA guidelines How to Identify False News and show them the Lupa Agency that does fact-checking.The research was important so that the elderly are always alert and able to identify fake news and the consequences of disclosing them.
