Abstract:
O presente trabalho é uma análise das bibliografias das disciplinas obrigatórias do curso de graduação em Biblioteconomia da FURG, destacando somente as disciplinas específicas do curso. Os objetivos específicos desta pesquisa são: a) Verificar a adequação de uso das fontes bibliográficas pelos docentes junto aos discentes. b) Avaliar as práticas de acesso dos discentes às obras (Pesquisa no Argo, Cedido pelo professor, Compra de material bibliográfico e Consulta em fontes disponíveis na internet). O método utilizado para coleta de dados foi o questionário estruturado com perguntas abertas e fechadas dividido em cinco tópicos: a) Disciplinas. b) Dados de caracterização dos respondentes. c) Avaliação das Bibliografias. d) Acesso à bibliografia. e) Aspectos gerais no total de oito perguntas,o questionário foi aplicado na sala de aula e enviado por e-mail para os alunos do 4º ano, no qual foi possível obter retorno de 104 alunos, para um total de 160 alunos matriculados em 2019. Verificou-se as bibliografias estão em acordo com a formação dos profissionais da área da biblioteconomia junto aos discentes do curso de Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande. Conclui-se o número de disciplinas cursadas, 48,08% dos respondentes disseram que cursaram de 3 a 12 disciplinas, já 14,42% cursaram de 13 a 22 disciplinas, e 37,50% cursaram de 23 a 29 disciplinas. Quanto à idade observou-se que a maioria dos discentes respondentes está entre as idades de 18 a 27 anos “72%’’, seguida dos que tem 28 a 37, “15%’’. De acordo com as bibliografias utilizadas adequadamente, verificou-se que, dos 104 discentes, 33 mencionaram que a bibliografia da disciplina Fundamentos de Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação foi utilizada adequadamente, dois discentes disseram que ela não foi utilizada adequadamente e 69 citaram outras disciplinas, Pode-se observar que essa disciplina está satisfatória quanto a utilização da bibliografia indicada. Essa tendência de avaliação positiva também ocorre com as disciplinas Representação Descritiva I, Estudo de Uso e Usuários da Informação, Editoração Impressa. Mas vale salientar que as respostas para essas questões são de livre manifestação, pois o número de alunos que cursou cada disciplina interfere diretamente no resultado. Dos 103 discentes que cursaram a disciplina Fontes de Informação I, 25 afirmaram que a bibliografia da disciplina foi utilizada adequadamente e 23 disseram que não. Assim, pode-se observar que, essa disciplina está praticamente dividida. Os dados evidenciam que respondentes acessam a bibliografia das disciplinas através de consultas em fontes disponíveis na Internet, e também usam a pesquisa no Argo (Base de dados da Biblioteca da Instituição), assim como fontes cedidas pelos professores (via fotocópia ou arquivo digital). Nenhum dos respondentes indicou a opção compra de material bibliográfico. Pois muitos dos professores disponibiliza os materiais por fotocópia e pela plataforma Moodle. E muitas das bibliografias utilizadas estão disponíveis na biblioteca central da Universidade. Como resultado avaliou-se as bibliografias existentes nas disciplinas do curso o que nos permite servir como um instrumento de avaliação para melhorias e contribuir para estudos mais abrangentes da área.
The present work is an analysis of the bibliographies of the compulsory subjects of FURG's undergraduate degree in Library Science, highlighting only the specific subjects of the course. The specific objectives of this research are: a) To verify the adequacy of the use of bibliographic sources by the teachers with the students. b) Evaluate the students' access practices to the works (Argo Research, Provided by the teacher, Purchase of bibliographic material and Consultation in sources available on the Internet). The method used for data collection was the structured questionnaire with open and closed questions divided into five topics: a) Disciplines. b) Characterization data of respondents. c)Evaluation of Bibliographies. d) Access to the bibliography. e) General aspects of the total of eight questions, the questionnaire was applied in the classroom and sent by e-mail to the students of the 4th year, in which it was possible to get feedback from 104 students, for a total of 160 students enrolled in 2019. It was verified the bibliographies are in agreement with the formation of the professionals of the area of librarianship with the students of the course of Librarianship of the Federal University of Rio Grande. It concludes the number of subjects attended, 48.08% of respondents said they attended 3 to 12 subjects, 14.42% attended 13 to 22 subjects, and 37.50% attended 23 to 29 subjects. Regarding age, it was observed that the majority of the respondent students are between the ages of 18 to 27 years old "72%", followed by those who are 28 to 37 years old, "15%". According to the bibliographies properly used, it was found that of the 104 students, 33 mentioned that the bibliography of the Fundamentals of Library and Information Science discipline was used properly, two students said that it was not used properly and 69 mentioned other subjects, It can be observed that this discipline is satisfactory regarding the use of the indicated bibliography. This trend of positive evaluation also occurs with the Descriptive Representation I, Study of Use and Users of Information, Print Publishing. But it is noteworthy that the answers to these questions are free to speak, because the number of students who attended each discipline directly interferes with the result. Of the 103 students who attended the Sources of Information I course, 25 stated that the bibliography of the course was properly used and 23 said no. Thus, it can be observed that this disciplineis practically divided. The data show that respondents access the bibliography of the subjects through consultations in sources available on the Internet, and also use the research in Argo (Institution Library Database), as well as sources provided by teachers (via photocopy or digital archive). None of the respondents indicated the option to purchase bibliographic material. Because many of the teachers make the materials available by photocopy and the Moodle platform. And many of the bibliographies used are available at the University's central library. As a result we evaluated the existing bibliographies in the course subjects allowing us to serve as an evaluation tool for improvements and contribute to broader studies of the area.
