O ensino de história patrimonializado : uma experência formativa no programa socioprofissionalizante Projeto Pescar Refinaria Riograndense

Abstract

A educação Patrimonial é ação permanente e metódica do trabalho educativo do ensino de história, tendo como foco o Patrimônio Cultural e suas manifestações. Entretanto, os conceitos de patrimônio cultural e, por conseguinte, o interesse por sua preservação, ainda estão muito distantes de certas camadas da população. Nesse sentido e com propósito de instigar os indivíduos ao conhecimento, apropriação e valorização de sua herança cultural, a presente pesquisa, que se caracteriza como um estudo qualitativo, tem por objetivo investigar a experiência da inserção da Educação Patrimonial no programa socioprofissionalizante para os jovens em vulnerabilidade social, matriculados no Projeto Pescar da Refinaria Riograndense nos anos de 2016 e 2017. O estudo teve como processo investigar se os jovens do Pescar possuíam entendimento sobre o conceito de patrimônio cultural, qual sua concepção sobre a relevância da preservação patrimonial e, posteriormente, quais as contribuições que essa ação educativa trouxe aos jovens. Também buscou-se averiguar qual é o entendimento das outras educadoras da Rede Pescar sobre a Educação Patrimonial e se esse tema é ou já havia sido explorado em outras unidades da Rede Pescar e quais as contribuições que essa ação educativa traz aos jovens. A análise dos resultados demonstra que os estudantes e as educadoras, em sua grande maioria, desconheciam o tema. Da mesma forma, ficou evidenciado na escrita dos jovens o quão positivas foram as contribuições desta atividade para o conhecimento dos bens culturais de nosso município e a valorização do patrimônio cultural para a história individual e coletiva da comunidade. Logo, trazer o estudo do patrimônio cultural para um campo democratizado, oportunizou a todos os indivíduos envolvidos a se sentirem responsáveis por ele. Portanto, considera-se de fundamental importância a inclusão da Educação Patrimonial no currículo do Programa Projeto Pescar.

Patrimonial education is permanent and methodical action of educational of history teaching work, focusing on Cultural Patrimony and its manifestations. However, the concepts of cultural heritage and, therefore, the interest in its preservation, are still very distant from certain layers of the population. In this sense and with the purpose of instigating individuals to the knowledge, appropriation and valorization of their cultural heritage, the present research, which is characterized as a qualitative study, has the objective of investigating the experience of the insertion of patrimonial education in the socio-vocational program for young people in social vulnerability, enrolled in the Fishing Project of the Refinaria Riograndense in the years 2016 and 2017. The study had as a process to investigate if the young people of Pescar had an understanding about the concept of cultural heritage, what their conception about the relevance of the patrimonial preservation and, later, what the contributions that this educational action brought to the young people. Also, it sought to find out what the other educators of the Fishing Network about Heritage Education are and whether this topic is or had already been explored in other units of the Fishing Network, the contributions that this educational action brings to young people. The analysis of the results shows that the majority of the students were not aware of the subject. Likewise, it was evidenced in the writing of young people how positive the contributions of this activity to the knowledge of the cultural assets of our municipality and the valuation of cultural heritage for the individual and collective history of the Community. Therefore, bringing the study of cultural heritage to a democratized field has made it possible for all the individuals involved to feel responsible for it, so it is possible to consider the inclusion of heritage education in the curriculum of the Fishing Project Program as fundamental.
