Abstract:

lt is registered for lhe firsl time in lhe Rio Grande do Sul coast, lhe crab Pallopells berllllldellsis Benedict & Rathbun, 1891, which previous southern limit ofdistribution was at Santa Catarina, and now it is extended to lhe Rio Grande do Sul state coastline. These crabs were colectcd at Cassino beach in Rio Grande city in midle oftrash Iyed with lhe high lide.
