Produção científica de Eliézer de Carvalho Rios: contribuição material e imaterial para a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande – FURG

Abstract

O estudo do presente trabalho tem como objetivo geral resgatar o histórico da produção científica do Prof. Eliézer de Carvalho Rios, para ter melhor aproximação à memória material e imaterial, junto da obra e da produção científica, no âmbito de maior visibilidade e para o acesso de forma mais rápida a comunidade acadêmica da Instituição FURG, e de forma geral para todos os usuários. A partir do resgate das obras e da produção científica, utilizou-se da metodologia com a pesquisa exploratória e abordagem qualitativa na coleta de dados, ancoradas nos livros, separatas e dissertações da referida produção científica para esclarecer qual é o papel da produção material e quanto à trajetória do pesquisado, trazer a memória de tal importância como patrimônio material e imaterial para a Instituição FURG. O método utilizado foi levantamento bibliográfico e pesquisa documental no acervo das Bibliotecas do SIB–FURG e na Biblioteca Rio-Grandense. Por fim, obtiveram-se os resultados através da coleta diretamente na Biblioteca Rio-Grandense pela pesquisadora, e nas Bibliotecas do SIB–FURG, obteve-se através de e-mail, pela Bibliotecária Cibele Dziekaniak atuante na Biblioteca Central Campus Carreiros. Conclui-se que foi na Biblioteca Rio-Grandense e na Biblioteca Setorial do Museu Oceanográfico onde as obras foram encontradas com maior frequência, e resultados diferentes para as outras duas bibliotecas do SIB–FURG. Ressalto tal importância do produto final desse Trabalho de Conclusão do Curso de Biblioteconomia, a Lista de Referências Bibliográficas que, de forma digital e impressa, fica a disposição permitindo acesso e acessibilidade da comunidade pesquisadora e comunidade em geral, nas referidas bibliotecas.

The study of the present work has as general objective to recover the history of the scientific production of the Professor Eliézer de Carvalho Rios, to better approach towards the material and immaterial memory, with the work and scientific production, looking for greater visibility and for faster access to the FURG's academic community and for general users. From the retrieval of works and scientific production, we used as methodology the exploratory research and qualitative approach in data gathering, anchored in the books, offprints and dissertations of that scientific production, to highlight the role of material production and the trajectory of our subject of research, bring the memory of such importance as material and immaterial heritage for FURG. The method used was Bibliographic Survey, and documentary research in the collection of Libraries of SIB–FURG and Biblioteca Rio-Grandense. Finally, the results were obtained through direct collection at the Biblioteca Rio-Grandense by the researcher, and at the SIB–FURG Libraries, obtained through e-mail, by the Librarian Cibele Dziekaniak, from the Campus Carreiros Central Library. It was concluded that the most works were found in the Biblioteca Rio-Grandense and the Oceanographic Museum Sector Library, and different results for the other two libraries of the SIB–FURG. I emphasize the importance of the final product of this dissertation, a List of Bibliographic References, available on digital and printed forms, allowing access and accessibility of the research community and the general community in these libraries.
