Abstract:
Revocata Heloísa de Melo é uma importante representante da escrita
feminina rio-grandense e brasileira. Sua atuação literária fica mais reconhecida
a partir do seu papel como fundadora e redatora do periódico Corimbo, cujo
título, de inspiração floral, remete a uma inflorescência. Apesar deste ter sido
um dos destaques de sua carreira, a ação literária da escritora é bem mais
abrangente. Neste sentido, esta dissertação tem por objetivo estudar a obra de
Revocata de Melo “para além da inflorescência”, destacando a sua produção
bibliográfica e jornalística no rol da literatura gaúcha.
Revocata Heloísa de Melo is an important agent of Rio Grande and
Brazilian women's writing. Her literary work is more recognized from her role as
founder and editor of the newspaper Corimbo, whose title, inspired by floral,
refers to an inflorescence. Although this was one of the highlights of her career,
the literary action of the writer is much more comprehensive. In this sense, this
dissertation aims to study the work of Revocata de Melo “in addition to the
inflorescence”, highlighting its bibliographical and journalistic production in the
roster of the gaúcha literature.
