Abstract:
Esse trabalho busca averiguar se é possível incentivar tanto a leitura quanto o
conhecimento dos moradores do bairro Parque Marinha através de uma ação
cultural de doação e trocas de livros. Sendo um dos maiores bairros em população
da cidade, apresenta alguns atrativos na área de esportes e saúde física aos
moradores, mas deixa a desejar quanto a atrativos que estimulem bons hábitos de
saúde mental e leitura. Sendo assim, com essa proposta de trabalho, objetivamos
suscitar nos moradores o costume e/ou hábitos de trocar livros já lidos, bem como,
fomentar a leitura e o conhecimento. A natureza da pesquisa foi aplicada, e quanto
aos objetivos, adotamos o método de pesquisa exploratória. Para a coleta de dados
utilizamos aplicação de formulário e estudo de campo, com aplicação total de 22
formulários. Foram quatro dias de ação Cultural efetiva, com banca de
doações/trocas de livros. O resultado final foi doação de 48 livros, tendo como
infantil/infanto juvenil o gênero de livros mais doados. Conclui-se com a reflexão do
baixo números de moradores que levaram os livros para casa através das doações
mas com a felicidade de perceber que a maior parte das doações foram para
crianças, que representam o futuro da comunidade; como também, foi encerrado o
trabalho com o desejo de continuar, não só da autora, mas de parte da população
que manifestou o interesse nas trocas.
This work seeks to find out if it is possible to encourage both reading and knowledge
of the residents of the Parque Marinha neighborhood through a cultural action of do-
nation and exchange of books. Being one of the largest neighborhoods in terms of
population in the city, it has some attractions in the area of sports and physical health
for residents, but leaves something to be desired in terms of attractions that encoura-
ge good mental health and reading habits. Therefore, with this work proposal, we aim
to encourage in residents the routine and/or habits of exchanging already read bo-
oks, as well as to encourage reading and knowledge. The nature of the research was
applied, and as for the objectives, we adopted the exploratory research method. For
data collection, we used a form application and field study, with a total application of
22 forms. There were four days of effective cultural action, with donations/book ex-
changes. The final result was the donation of 48 books, with children/juvenile children
being the most donated book genre. It concludes with a reflection on the low num-
bers of residents who took the books home through donations, but with the happi-
ness of realizing that most of the donations were for children, who represent the futu-
re of the community; as well, the work was ended with the desire to continue, not
only by the author, but by part of the population that expressed interest in the ex-
changes.
