Abstract:
O presente trabalho apresenta os resultados da pesquisa sobre a participação das
mulheres na produção científica na Ciência da Informação. O objetivo da pesquisa é
fazer um levantamento dos dados para compreender a participação das mulheres nas
publicações científicas, em todas as posições de autoria, o recorte temporal foi de 15
anos, desde 2007 até 2021. Os objetivos específicos são: a) Identificar a posição das
autorias das pesquisadoras nos documentos recuperados; b) Comparar a relação das
autoras e dos autores nos artigos publicados em todas as posições de autoria; c)
Identificar a quantidade de autoria referente ao gênero por ano de publicação; d)
Analisar a estrutura e a dinâmica da produção no recorte temporal proposto.Com
relação à construção da pesquisa, foram abordados temas a respeito, do gênero, o
sistema educacional, o ingresso das mulheres na universidade, e na ciência. A
pesquisa se classifica como bibliométrica, dos seis periódicos utilizados, foram
extraídos os artigos, após foram criadas planilhas no software Excel, os dados foram
ordenados na base com o código do artigo, ano de publicação, nomes dos autores,
posição de autoria, e gênero. A pesquisa obteve como resultado um total de 3392
artigos, que totalizaram 7758 autorias, sendo 4447 mulheres, e 3305 homens, a partir
da aplicação dos dados, constatou-se que as mulheres publicaram maior quantidade
ao longo dos 15 anos investigados. Compreende-se que estes estudos podem
compactuar para o reconhecimento, e novas discussões, e é incontestável a
importância que as universidades como produtoras da ciência precisam evidenciar e
possibilitar às mulheres ainda mais espaços na produção científica.
This paper presents the results of research on women's participation in scientific
production in Information Science. The objective of the research is to survey the data
to understand the participation of women in scientific publications, in all positions of
authorship, the time frame was 15 years, from 2007 to 2021. The specific objectives
are: a) Identify the position of the authors of the researchers in the retrieved
documents; b) Compare the list of authors and authors in articles published in all
positions of authorship; c) Identify the amount of authorship referring to the genre by
year of publication; d) Analyze the structure and dynamics of production in the
proposed time frame. With regard to the construction of the research, themes related
to gender, the educational system, the admission of women to university, and science
were considered. The research is classified as bibliometric in total, from all six journals
used, the articles were extracted, after spreadsheets were created in Excel software,
the data were ordered in the base with the article code, year of publication, authors'
names, position authorship, and genre. The research resulted in a total of 3392 articles,
which totaled 7758 authorships, 4447 women and 3305 men. From the application of
the data, it was found that women published more about the 15 years investigated. It
is understood that these studies can collude for recognition, and new discussions, and
the importance that universities, as producers of science, need to highlight and provide
women with even more spaces in scientific production is undeniable.
