Abstract:
O presente ensaio reflete sobre as possibilidades da hermenêutica marxista na
interpretação da história e da cultura no atual estágio do capitalismo. Tomando algumas vertentes do marxismo, expõe os conflitos teóricos entre o materialismo
dialético e as filosofias de Nietzsche, Michel Foucault e Paul Ricoeur. O questionamento epistemológico proposto é se é possível hoje uma teoria da totalidade
da emancipação social, capaz de responder à fragmentação identitária e a divisão material da sociedade. Para averiguar a questão, Fredric Jamenson, Walter Benjamin
e Teodor W. Adorno surgem como aparatos teóricos.
This essay discusses the possibilities of Marx’s hermeneutics to interpret history and
culture at the current stage of capitalism. Taking into consideration a few Marxist
schools, it exposes the theoretical conflicts between the dialectic materialism and the philosophies of Nietzsche, Michel Foucault, and Paul Ricoeur. The epistemological
question proposed is whether it is possible today for a theory on the total social
emancipation to respond to society fragmented identity and material division. To
examine the matter, Fredric Jamenson, Walter Benjamin, and Teodor W. Adorno are
used as theoretical support.
