A personagem feminina na obra de João Simões Lopes Neto: uma releitura do mito de Lilith

Abstract

Esta dissertação investiga a caracterização das personagens femininas a partir das representações da mulher verificadas em textos de Contos gauchescos e Lendas do Sul, de João Simões Lopes Neto. Assim, são discutidas as relações entre o universo da mulher natural e sobrenatural, os papéis destinados a elas, os modos como são caracterizadas, bem como suas trajetórias esperadas e possíveis no mundo narrado. Além disso, faz-se uma comparação com o mito de Lilith, com o qual se procura estabelecer relações para a investigação dessa caracterização, apresentando os diferentes olhares lançados à figura feminina dentro do corpus selecionado. Agindo assim, busca-se uma abordagem ao texto literário subsidiada por aportes da História da Literatura, da Teoria do Mito, bem como das Teorias do Imaginário, com o intuito de contribuir para uma nova perspectiva da representação da personagem feminina na obra de Simões Lopes Neto.

This is a research on the characterization of the feminine characters from woman’s representations found in texts of Contos Gauchescos and Lendas do Sul, by João Simões Lopes Neto. In this sense, the relations between the universe of the natural and supernatural woman, the roles related to these characters, the ways to relate and characterize them are discussed, as well as their expected and possible trajectories in the narrated world. Besides that, we intend to provide a comparison with the myth of Lilith, with which we try to establish relations for the inquiry of this characterization, presenting the different sights addressed to the feminine figure inside of the selected corpus. Thus acting, we search an approach to the literary text subsidized by the History of Literature, the Theory of Myth, as well as the Theories of the Imaginary, with the intention to contribute for a new perspective of the representation of the feminine character in Simões Lopes Neto.
