Abstract:
Esta dissertação é resultado de uma investigação em que se propôs repensar a relação entre o Ensino de História e o Meio Ambiente dialogando com a perspectiva de ensino de alguns autores do campo da História Ambiental. Buscou-se assim construir uma horta escolar por meio da metodologia da Pesquisa Ação Participante como um espaço de aprendizagem da disciplina de História. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida em duas escolas públicas estaduais em cidades distintas: Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Professor Carlos Loréa Pinto em Rio Grande de maio a novembro de 2013 e Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Marechal Soares de Andréa no Chuí entre os meses de junho a dezembrode 2014. Como resultado, foi criada a horta escolar como um ambiente de diálogos em que os estudantes fizeram parte do processo de pesquisa, surpreendendo-se com este tipo de abordagem e apontando suas opiniões e anseios com relação ao Meio Ambiente partindo do estudo da realidade escolar nas aulas de História.
This dissertation it is an investigation which uses the methodology of participant action research to rethink the relationship between the teaching of history and environment. We sought to build a space for learning and reflection materialized in a school garden to propose the dialogue with the theoretical field of environmental history. The research took place in state public schools in different cities: E.E.E.M. Professor Carlos Loréa Pinto, in Rio Grande, from May to November 2013, and E.E.E.M. Marechal Soares Andrea in Chui, between June and December 2014. This research provided a dialog environment where the students were part of the research process, surprising themselves with this kind of approach and pointing their opinions and wishes with regard to the environment from the study of school reality. Thus, the environmental issue that was also perceived by the group of teachers of the school as of great relevance was being discussed in an interdisciplinary way creating new possibilities for the debate on the environment in history teaching.
