Estratégia de incentivo à leitura adotadas por bibliotecários (as) que atuam em bibliotecas escolares: revisão de literatura

Abstract

Este estudo teve como objetivo investigar, por meio de revisão de literatura, as estratégias de incentivo à leitura adotadas por bibliotecários escolares. O trabalho abordou a importância da leitura, o papel da biblioteca escolar e do profissional bibliotecário no incentivo à leitura. A metodologia da pesquisa caracteriza-se como uma revisão de literatura. A partir de buscas realizada na Base de Dados em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI) utilizando os termos “biblioteca escolar” e “incentivo à leitura”, recuperou-se 757 documentos (universo da pesquisa), dos quais 30 foram selecionados para análise (amostra da pesquisa). Os resultados demonstram a importância de desenvolver práticas de incentivo à leitura nas bibliotecas escolares e apontam estratégias que podem ser adotadas por bibliotecários(as) para estimular os estudantes na criação/manutenção do hábito da leitura. Conclui-se que a hora do conto foi a estratégia mais utilizada, com maior número de vezes citadas, logo que a ação de contar histórias vem de geração em geração, e é uma ótima estratégia para utilizar e incentivar a leitura.

This study aimed to investigate, through a literature review, the reading incentive strategies adopted by school librarians. The work addressed the importance of reading, the role of the school library and the librarian in encouraging reading. The research methodology is characterized as a literature review. From searches conducted in the Database on Information Science (BRAPCI) using the terms "school library" and "reading incentive", 757 documents (research universe) were recovered, of which 30 were selected for analysis (research sample). The results demonstrate the importance of developing practices to encourage reading in school libraries and point out strategies that can be adopted by librarians to stimulate students in the creation/maintenance of the reading habit. It is concluded that the time of the tale was the most used strategy, with the highest number of times mentioned, as soon as the action of storytelling comes from generation to generation, and is a great strategy to use and encourage reading.
