Identificação das abordagens sobre as bibliotecas escolares: uma revisão bibliográfica na base de dados Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA)
Resumo
As bibliotecas escolares são unidades incorporadas as instituições de ensino com foco no desenvolvimento do ensino-aprendizado de discentes. Por este motivo têm cada vez mais sua presença reiterada por meio de políticas públicas que passam a exigir a implantação deste espaço com infraestrutura e profissionais suficientes, como exemplo a Lei n.o 14.837, de 8 de abril de 2024 que visa universalizar as bibliotecas escolares como um equipamento cultural imprescindível para a formação do cidadão brasileiro. Neste sentido, ao deparar-se com este contexto e visando identificar como pesquisadores posicionam-se defronte a temática biblioteca escolar, o presente estudo teve como objetivo investigar a produção científica sobre bibliotecas escolar na Base de Dados Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA). Através de uma pesquisa básica de revisão bibliográfica realizada na base de dados LISTA pertencente a empresa EBSCO Information Services, foram coletados artigos científicos publicados nos últimos cinco anos que atenderam a palavra-chave “biblioteca escolar”. Estes artigos foram baixados, submetidos a localização e classificação no Microsoft Office Excel para posterior análise. Os resultados demonstraram que dos 22 artigos encontrados na base de dados, 45% foram inclusos por apresentarem relevância com a temática e atenderem todos os critérios estabelecidos, o que demonstra uma perspectiva positiva em relação a qualidade do material/conteúdo produzido para a pesquisa brasileira sobre biblioteca escolar. Os principais achados do estudo apresentam as bibliotecas escolares em ascensão, caminhando rumo a sua concretização e firmamento nas instituições de ensino brasileiras, com incentivo de políticas públicas voltadas para a inclusão, a adequação da infraestrutura assistiva e a formação de bibliotecários capacitados para atender amplo público-alvo. Conclui-se que as bibliotecas escolares são espaços de ensino- aprendizado fundamentais para a formação educacional e cultural humana, devendo assim estarem continuamente sendo aperfeiçoadas e prestigiadas como instrumento de construção dos saberes.
School libraries are units incorporated into educational institutions with a focus on developing the teaching-learning of students. For this reason, their presence is increasingly reiterated through public policies that require the implementation of this space with sufficient infrastructure and professionals, such as Law No. 14,837, of April 8, 2024, which aims to universalize school libraries. as an essential cultural equipment for the formation of Brazilian citizens. In this sense, when faced with this context and aiming to identify how researchers position themselves when faced with the topic of school libraries, the present study aimed to investigate scientific production on school libraries in the Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts Database (LISTA ). Through a basic bibliographic review research carried out in the LISTA database belonging to the company EBSCO Information Services, scientific articles published in the last 5 years were collected that met the keyword “school library”. These articles were downloaded, searched and classified in Microsoft Office Excel for further analysis. The results demonstrated that of the 22 articles found in the database, 45% were included because they were relevant to the topic and met all established criteria, which demonstrates a positive perspective regarding the quality of the material/content produced for Brazilian research on school library. The main findings of the study present school libraries on the rise, moving towards their implementation and establishment in Brazilian educational institutions, with the encouragement of public policies aimed at inclusion, the adequacy of assistive infrastructure and the training of librarians qualified to serve a broad audience -target. It is concluded that school libraries are fundamental teaching-learning spaces for human educational and cultural formation, and should therefore be continually improved and honored as an instrument for building knowledge.
