Biblioteca da Escola Estadual Dr. José Mariano de Freitas Beck - CIEP: expectativas da comunidade escolar em relação a reabertura

Abstract

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo verificar as expectativas dos alunos e dos professores em relação a reabertura da biblioteca na Escola Estadual Dr. José Mariano de Freitas Beck do Rio Grande, Rio Grande do sul, esta é uma pesquisa qualitativa explicativa, foram aplicados questionários para professores e alunos do ensino fundamental e ensino médio, Verificou-se a necessidade da reabertura da biblioteca, já que alunos e professores veem a biblioteca como ferramenta de auxilio para a educação e estímulo à leitura. Constatando o valor que os alunos dão a biblioteca escolar, e a realidade da escola hoje, percebemos a importância do bibliotecário, sendo ele o profissional capacitado para exercer ações que venham a atender as necessidades informacionais, trabalhando em colaboração com os professores, uma vez que a pratica e o incentivo da leitura estão presentes em grande parte das ações que a escola promove, percebe se que a reabertura da biblioteca escolar irá auxiliar nas atividades de ensino e aprendizagem.This research aimed to examine the expectations of students and teachers regarding the reopening of the library in the State School Dr. Mariano José de Freitas Beck of Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul, this is an explanatory qualitative descriptive study, has been applied questionnaires for teachers and students in elementary and high school , was verified the necessity of reopening the library once students and teachers see the library as a tool to aid education and encourage reading. Noting the value that students give the school library, and the reality of school today, we realize the importance of the librarian, being the skilled professional to pursue actions that will meet the informational needs, working in collaboration with teachers, once the practice and the encouragement of reading are present in most of the actions promoted by the school, realize that the reopening of the school library will aid in the teaching and learning activities.
