This dissertation discusses the multiple facets commonly associated with women, in order to better understand them, so that we can analyze a way to resignify their multiple facets, in society, in Environmental Education and in scientific production. Specifically, we aim to dialogue about the issues that involve the category of women, relating it to the aspects of motherhood/motherhood and the academic space, including the concerns and experiences of the author herself, in order to articulate the social differences generated by systems of oppression and to make a dialogue about the resignification of its multiple facets, also reflecting on the multiple positionalities of women and their critical contribution in Education Environmental, considering the studies of Intersectional Feminism and Matricentric Feminism, in addition to the dynamics of social production and reproduction in the order of Capital. The research starts from the following question: How do the experiences of women, mothers and maternal researchers influence the construction of Critical Environmental Education? Methodologically, the study was organized in two parts: I - theoretical orientation, with bibliographic analysis on academic platforms, based on studies by feminist authors, such as: Silvia Federici (2017, 2019, 2021, 2022), Audre Lorde (1984, 2019), Patricia Hill Collins & Sirma Bilge (2021), Lélia Gonzalez (1984, 2020), Andrea O'Reilly (2004, 2013, 2014, 2016), Angela Davis (2016, 2018) and other voices of critical educators such as Alana Pedruzzi (2019), Tamires Podewils (2019), Claudia Cousin (2010), Laryssa de Assis (2023) and Lisiana Lawson (2019, 2023) , making analytical use of immanent reading; II - analytical, bringing questions about the production of women in Science, based on the understanding of the current panorama of women in Environmental Education. As well as, from the data collected on the reality of the scientific production of students in progress and graduates of the Graduate Program in Environmental Education, at the Federal University of Rio Grande. Concluding that by understanding these positionalities of the different vulnerable groups and by resignifying the multiple facets of women, we observe the need for these women to occupy more places of power, and to guide and suggest proposals and implementations of public policies, in attention to people who experience motherhood and motherhood in academic spaces, as well as, it was possible to think of a different way of doing Environmental Education, above all, from a critical, feminist, intersectional, anti-racist and necessarily anti-capitalist bias, in favor of social justice and overcoming the environmental crisis.
