Sustentabilidade em ambientes de inovação: uma metodologia de apoio à gestão baseada na visão de gestores brasileiros e espanhóis

Os Ambientes de Inovação, compreendidos entre Incubadoras e Parques, ou outros locais focados em criar/desenvolver um ecossistema de inovação, são espaços de realizar mudanças em diferentes esferas. Esses locais permitem a universidade repensar o seu papel, bem como dos demais atores, Governo e Empresas. Por ocuparem a função de catalizadores das ações de inovação, a associação desses ambientes com a sustentabilidade pode representar um forte impulso para a melhoria das condições atuais da sociedade e das gerações futuras, permitindo um desenvolvimento verdadeiramente sustentável, com possibilidades de construir novos produtos e serviços em sintonia com necessidades reais atuais e futuras, numa perspectiva Sustentável. Nesta linha a proposta deste estudo tem por objetivo propor um índice de sustentabilidade para ambientes de inovação. Como etapa inicial buscou-se a compreensão de Gestores no Brasil e na Espanha sobre os temas investigados, a partir da utilização de instrumentos de pesquisa qualitativos e quantitativos, foi possível obter os resultados esperados. O trabalho visa romper com a visão reducionista da Sustentabilidade, conhecida por Tripé da Sustentabilidade ou Triple Bottom Line (TBL) e adota uma visão ampla do tema, contribuindo como ferramenta de transformação do pensamento estratégico dos líderes que atuam na área de inovação. A construção de um sistema de indicadores associados à gestão de nível estratégico e a sua aproximação com as dimensões da Sustentabilidade, é um resultado que permite confrontar diferentes ambientes e seu respectivo posicionamento frente aos demais. A proposta teve como inspiração a ferramenta de benchmarking para parques científicos e tecnológicos estrategigrama desenvolvida pela associação international de parques - IASP. Os resultados obtidos possibilitam a reflexão sobre a necessidade de criação e adoção de ferramentas que reforcem a visão da sustentabilidade em dimensões diferentes da visão tradicional, incluindo outras dimensões de acordo com o contexto analisado. Cabe aos ambientes de inovação uma postura diferenciada no que tange incorporação da sustentabilidade na gestão. Com base no contexto apresentado, busca-se nesta tese compreender a gestão de ambientes de inovação sob o olhar da Sustentabilidade de forma a entender as complexidades presentes em soluções de gestão sistêmica, as quais exigem uma perspectiva de análise alinhada a múltiplas dimensões da Sustentabilidade.
Innovation Environments, ranging from incubators and parks, and other sites focused on creating / developing an innovation ecosystem are spaces to make changes in different spheres. They allow the University to rethink its role, as well as Government and Enterprises. Since these places occupy the catalytic role of innovative actions, the association of these environments with sustainability may represent a strong push to improve the current conditions of society and future generations, allowing for a truly sustainable development, with opportunities to build new products and services in accordance with real current and future needs, thinking and creating in the sustainable perspective. In this line the purpose of this study is to understand the vision of managers of innovation environments in Brazil and Spain from qualitative research tools, check the possibilities of expanding the vision of this important group, which interacts directly with the environment strategy and the actors who occupy these spaces and from the addition, contribute to their strategic conception. The work aims to break with the reductionist view of Sustainability, called Triple Bottom Line (TBL) and takes a broad view of the subject, contributing as a processing tool of strategic thinking for leaders who work in the area of innovation. The construction of a system of indicators associated with the strategic level management and its approach to the dimensions of sustainability will be considered expected results that. will confront different environments and their respective position among the others. The proposal was inspired in the benchmarking tool for scientific and technological parks strategigram developed by the international association of parks - IASP. The results obtained allow the reflection on the need to create and adopt tools that reinforce the vision of sustainability in dimensions different from the traditional view, including other dimensions according to the analyzed context. It is up to the innovation environments a differentiated position regarding the incorporation of sustainability in the management. Based on the presented context, this thesis aims to understand the management of innovation environments under the Sustainability view in order to understand the complexities present in systemic management solutions, which require an analysis perspective aligned to multiple dimensions of Sustainability.
