Abstract:
Este texto apresenta uma análise estrutural que traz à tona alguns aspectos históricos relacionados aos momentos anteriores à implantação do Estado Novo em Portugal; em outras palavras, o texto enfoca a grave crise econômica e política que aflige o país nos anos vinte do século XX,desfechando um golpe fatal à Primeira República portuguesa (1910-1926),a qual acaba abrindo espaço para a instauração de uma ditadura militar e uma série de golpes e contragolpes e,finalmente, a implantação do Estado Novo, em 1933.
This study presents a structural analysis that brings up some historical aspects related to the moments prior to the deployment of the Estado Novo in Portugal. Thus, it focuses on the economic and political crisis afflicting the country in the twenties of the 20th century by launching a fatal blow to the Portuguese First Republic(1910-1926), which finally opened space for the establishment of a military dictatorship and a series of coups and counter, and then the implementation of the Estado Novo in Portugal in 1933.
