Abstract:
O artigo trata de descrever e analisar as contribuições do filósofo Michel Serres aos fundamentos da educação ambiental para a formação do ser humano no mundo contemporâneo, destacando as obras “Diálogos sobre a Ciência, a Cultura e o Tempo: conversas com Bruno Latour”, “O Contrato Natural” e “O Terceiro Instruído”. Deseja-se, com este artigo, afiançar o debate da importância sobre a obra de Serres para a educação científica e humanística endereçada à paz entre os humanos e estes com a natureza, o planeta Terra.
This paper aims at describing and analyzing the contributions made by philosopher Michel Serres to the principles of Environmental Education for human beings’ education in the contemporaneous world, mainly the ones found in his books “Conversations on Science, Culture and Time: Michel Serres with Bruno Latour”, “The Natural Contract” and “The Troubadour of Knowledge”. This study is expected to promote the debate about the importance of Serres’s work for scientific and humanistic education which aims not only at peace among humans but also at peace between humankind and nature on Earth.
